Hearing Tests

You can’t solve a problem without understanding it. Schedule a hearing test and our audiologists will show you the details of your hearing loss and how a personalized solution can enhance your hearing, your life, and your relationships.

  • The Hearing Test -Our audiologist will visually examine your ear to see if any obstructions, like earwax, are present. In some instances, patients begin to hear better within minutes after earwax is professionally removed.

  • Next, the testing will be conducted in a soundproof room, where you will be given headphones and presented with different sounds and speech. You will be asked to indicate when you can hear different sounds, and the results will determine the exact characteristics of your hearing loss, if present.

  • Reviewing your hearing test results The results of your hearing test are recorded on a graph called an audiogram, which the audiologist or ENT will review with you. The audiogram shows the type, pattern, and severity of hearing loss by showing the frequency and decibel levels at which you have difficulty hearing, as well as your ability to hear conversation and recognize speech.

  • Treatment solutions for your hearing loss - After reviewing your results and special concerns, one of our hearing specialists will provide a tailored solution to optimize your hearing.
